Exactly. It took me a long time to realize that focus is everything. Personally I find that focusing on only ONE thing is the key.

In moments of stress or overthinking, I'll want to focus on too many things (which results in distraction). So it's important to ask ourselves again and again: what truly matters to me? What is my priority? Let's do it one step at a time.

I read this today: "Your life is what you choose to pay attention to."

I think it's true. When I focus on what's wrong, I find a massive amount that is.

When I focus on what I'm doing well, or what I'm grateful for, I find a massive amount there.

The big question I'm left with is: how might I shift my focus? Those habits of negativity are deeply ingrained.

One of the ways I shift my focus I by asking better questions. Or by asking someone else to ask me questions about it. That’s just me though!
