I love this. I saw your note about quiet mornings so I wanted to check out your publication. Simplifying and cutting out distractions can be brutal, but when you find peace from them, it’s huge.
For instance, I struggle with tech. I’m constantly reaching for my phone. The only time that I don’t is when I am doing something intentionally, like reading or writing. I’m trying to find other times in my day to be okay just being, and not reaching for my phone for mindless distraction.
As a Wicked Kid, I like that this is your version of Fiyero living an "unexamined life". Before he began adapt & change & grow.
For me, intention & doing things on purpose is Everything. And, big effort means that big rest is also necessary (something I get better at as I go).

Yes, intention and action is everything. Mostly action, intention doesn’t go very far.

Thanks for the feedback. It is brutal, but it’s worth it. Thankfully external distractions can be managed easier than internal ones
